It’s the day I get to tell my children for the first time in 83 days, “Time to go to bed because it’s a SCHOOL NIGHT.”
Wooohooo! I love saying that!
Tomorrow will be like Christmas, except instead of Santa leaving presents at my house he’ll be taking children away from my house on a bus, which is better than anything that jolly old elf could put under a tree for me.
I think this calls for some caroling . . .
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
When the kids won’t be yelling and I won’t be telling them, “Get out of here!”
It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
It’s the hap-happiest season of all.
With those cheerful moms greeting and lunch dates we’re meeting,
Then off to the mall.
It’s the hap-happiest season of all.
There’ll be parties for hosting
By moms who’ll be toasting
And caroling out in the yard.
There’ll be scary mom stories
And tales of the gories of
kids who made summer too hard.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
There’ll be much mani/pedi,
And bubble baths ready,
Cause loved ones aren’t near!
It’s the most wonderful time,
It’s the most wonderful time,
It’s the most wonderful time . . . of the year!
Happy back to school, from my quiet house to yours!
I will be singing this all week!!! My kids don’t start until next Tuesday, but the countdown is ON!!!!
I DESPERATELY needed words to that song!!! I’ve been singing the first line for the past 3 weeks and my kids are ready to kill me. Thanks for finishing it for all of us!!! Love ya Kari!!!
