It’s the annual WOMEN’S CONFERENCE at Brigham Young University in Provo!
My brother-in-law grew up nearby in Orem and he said their family used to hunker down, stay off the roads, away from all businesses, and try not to even leave the house during those few days if they could help it.
“Waaaaaaay to much estrogen flowing.”
He only has one brother and three cousins total from both sides of his family and they’re all guys.
But for women, it is a fabulous weekend of learning, laughing, shopping, crying, serving, eating, and bonding.
I’m puttin’ my estrogen levels into the mix because I’ve been invited to do a BOOK SIGNING!
Yep, me and my book made it to “The Big Dance” – the top tier LDS women’s event of the year, which is perfect because my book is all about being a woman and how to cope if sometimes you’re not very good at being a good woman even though you try really hard, and when it doesn’t work out it is horrible, and embarrassing, and pretty stinkin’ funny!
So come take over Provo with me this weekend and scare the pants off of Utah County residents as we stampede the mall, pack restaurants, swarm the BYU campus, and then go toilet paper my brother-in-law’s house!
Friday, April 27th, 1:30-3:30 p.m.
BYU Bookstore, Wilkinson Center
See you there!
